For two years, I happily used Instagram although the 7500 maximum follower count loomed heavily before me.
Each morning, like a ritual, I went into my 3rd party apps, discovered who'd dared to unfollow me within the last 24 hours (my ego couldn't take it) and unfollowed them right back.
My ratio of follower/followee stayed intact, and I stayed under the 7500 count.
My Instagram life was so good, I even blogged about 13 unfollow tools you can use for 3 different social media sites including Instagram.
Until...
About 2 weeks ago Instagram started cracking down on use of 3rd party apps.
My post! My ego! My maximum follower count grew ever closer!
What to do?
I'm still wondering as I put out calls for help to fellow Instagrammers.
I think Instagram should let us use 3rd party apps so we can stay under the maximum follower count and have fun and not feel stress.
